Top performer candidates

Bjorn Anderson, Roseville. Anderson was the most prolific runner in an attack-friendly 16-15 win for Roseville (4-4, 2-4) over Minneapolis (2-3, 0-1) on May 3. He led the Raiders in goals (six), assists (three) and shots on goal (13), which proved vital in the one-goal win.

Tyr Christianson, Chanhassen. Christianson came up huge to lead Chanhassen (7-1, 3-0) to an 11-10 double overtime win on May 4 over Benilde-St. Margaret's (5-1, 2-1), the No. 1 team in the state according to the latest coaches' poll. Christianson, a West Point commit, contributed five goals and three assists to help hand the Scarlet Knights their first loss of the season.

Sawyer Anderson, Edina. The Edina (7-1, 5-0) attack had no problem in a 10-3 win over Eden Prairie (6-2, 3-2) on May 4, but they were given a big boost by Anderson's effort in net. The senior goalie made 14 saves on 17 shot attempts, good for a .824 save percentage.

Conor Hooley, Woodbury. Hooley led a well-rounded Woodbury (3-2, 3-2) attack in its 17-5 win over Forest Lake (0-7, 0-6) on May 5. The junior had an eight-point game, racking up four goals and four assists apiece.

Caleb Belting, Owantonna. Belting did a little bit of everything for Owatonna (7-1, 5-0) in a 15-3 win over Hermantown/Proctor (1-4, 1-2) on May 7. He led the Huskies with five goals and four assists and also had a team-high 12 ground balls.
